This tour includes a leisurely coastal drive around the south side of the island in a comfortable air-conditioned motorcoach where you will see some magnificent beachfront homes and apartments, wide expanse of Caribbean sea and stop to take pictures at the islands’ only “Shoe Tree” before traveling on to to the historic Pedro St. James Castle where you will be entertained to a 3-D multimedia presentation of the island’s history, culture, and customs, before being given the chance to walk the grounds, touch the various artifacts of the past, and take memorable photos of a piece of Cayman’s history at the birthplace of democracy. You may also browse the gift shop in search of that special piece of Cayman’s history/culture to share with friends and loved ones back home. Our journey will continue along the south coast through the historic district of Bodden Town (once the first capital of the Cayman Islands) with it’s quaint seaside homes, and historic Cayman cottages on to the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park. At the park, you will walk among a wide variety of flora, fauna, and if you are lucky, get to see the endangered and indigenous Blue Iguana in it’s a natural environment. This tour includes a lunch stop at one of our beachside restaurants where you may relax in the shade and enjoy refreshing drinks, and some of Cayman’s finest local cuisine.
