Product Description
Duration: 3.5 hrs
Grand Cayman is divided into districts; the eastern side of the island being the less developed and least of all populated. This east side tour begins with a pick up at the dock in a very comfortable air-conditioned motor coach for a breathtaking scenic drive through George Town and around the south side of the island into the districts with a good mixture of traditional homesteads, condominiums, and commercial complexes. We will wind our way along Savannah, Bodden Town, Breakers, and East End where you take a break at Collier’s beach, the site of the Wreck of the Ten Sails, the Blow Holes and lover’s wall, and on to Pedro Castle for souvenir shopping. The tour will continue back along South Sound for picture stops by Smith Cove and into George for highlights of some major landmark buildings such as the government administration building, the historic post office, court, and parliament buildings to name a few before returning the dock for final shopping prior to your departure.
Tobias –
We had a great time with Ian exploring the east side of Grand Cayman. Ian knows everything about the island and answered all our many questions. We learned so much about the history and how people live here today (e.g. economy, housing, food, schooling, dealing with hurricanes, sports, etc.). We visited beautiful places. All in all, it was a real treat. I can 100% recommend this tour.
@Ian: thank you again for such a fantastic tour. We hope to see you again one day – maybe in Switzerland. Then we can show you around
